When I leave I will take with me, the memories of a life well lived

In addition to my studies I joined "Jane Choir", participated on stage, in front of an adoring audience in "Jane Play". Jane rekindled the flame of passion that I possessed for the Arts, that lay dormant within me for the longest time.
The most important lesson that I have learnt during my spell at University is who I am as a person, and Jane Franklin Hall has played a huge part in that. I arrived, unsure as to the person I wanted to be. Now I feel a sense of zeal and vigour considering the world my oyster. When I leave, l’ll not only have a certificate and a cuddly teddy bear, I will also take with me, the memories of a life well lived at Jane.

At Jane I felt welcomed. Jane’s culture helped me to thrive.

I can still remember the feeling of fear as I hopped on the plane to come to University in Tasmania. But fears can be deceiving. I had failed to take into consideration the fact that I was going to join the Jane community. At Jane I felt welcomed. Jane’s tradition and culture helped me to thrive. My fellow residents displayed a true passion for the College encompassing the world of 'The Arts' as well as academic achievement.
